But i usually held the view that all these anti-virus companies (Norton, Mcafee) create these virus' so that people will go out and buy their products - Otherwise, they won't have a large market. Biggest scam ever.

Then again, check out my PC secutiry...lol.

hmm... spywareblaster isnt as good as it used to be.. the loading of the database (eg when you open the program) takes quite long
now that you mention it.. I need to update mine!!

Yes, it does a quick scan of your HDD - doesnt lag your system like the full norton security package etc..

Yeah i heard that...my year 9 computing stds teacher told us that companies like microsoft develop operating systems which have holes in them so they sell their more with each release claiming that it's better....when they can just build one that is completely safe from viruses
