can someone please give me answers to the following (i am really bad at maths) with working intended for a complete n00b? i would really appreciate it!
i cant seem to understand anything my teacher says and i am waiting for new textbooks to arrive to explain these topics a bit more.
1. differentiate
x R(x+1)
R denotes the root sign, with (x+1) being under/in it
2. The roots of a monic polynomial of degree 3 are 1, -1 and 3. Find the equation of the polynomial.
3. Given that sinA = 4/5, where 90d < A< 180d, find the exact value of sin2A.
'd' is degrees btw.
4. solve the equation cos2 (T) = 2sin^2 (T) for 0d \< (T) \< 360d
'd' is degrees. (T) is Theta '^2' is squared. '\<' is less than or equal to.
Thanks for your help! if you dont wnat to do all 4, just do 1 (if you even want to help me) and hopefully someone else might do another etc.
