Ok just moved to ADSL and have a wireless router/modem (DSL-G604T). I was wondering if anyone knew about file sharing.

Specifically can computers connected via the router share files, printers etc etc.

If they can are there any settings to watch out for eg that whilst i'm sharing files between my notebook an desktop i'm also sharing them with anyone on the internet who feels that way inclined.

no settings needed, it should work as soon as you plug everything in.

you just need to enable sharing the files you want to share. right-click -> properies.
