I am seriously considering transferring to a performing arts high school as soon as possible. I currently go to a school in south western Sydney, which has a pretty crap ranking (in the 600+ range) and isn't exactly the best school in the area. Now before you say "Why didn't you do this sooner" or something, I have been putting off this decision for a while because my parents didn't want me focusing my time on the performing arts. So I didn't piss them off, I just went with things and stayed in my current high school. However their stance has changed recently and now they're just telling me to do whatever I want, and in this case, is to go to a performing arts high school.

The problem is that I am in Year 11 and when I go back to school, it will be Term 2. As far as I know, schools like the Conservatorium High and Newtown PA only admit Year 7-11 students for the following year. I'm not sure how stringent or anal they are about their enrolment policies, or if they even accept transfers at this time of the year (disregarding at this stage, audition requirements, etc).

If anyone knows or could help please respond asap.

Thanks in advance.
