The competition will be to launch an egg and recover it intact.The scoring will be the time the egg is aloft.If the EGG breaks,the score is zero.each team will get two rocket launches using either same rocket for both launches,or a different rocket for each launch.Each flight will be time from moment of launch until touchdown of the payload.The times will be recorded
note:if pieces of the rocket separate during the launch and/or flight the time to touchdown will be recorded when the payload of the rocked lands
The rocket will be powered by compressed air/water
No metal of glass part and wood may be used anywhere in the rocket design
Okay so basically i have to design a rocket...
the key to winning is for the egg to stay in the air the longest and allow the egg to SAFELY arrive on ground or else ZERO!!!
we charging the pressure to 100psi be4 launch
here some statitics
625ml(50%) took 4.75 sec to arrive on the ground
412.5ml(33%) took 4.87 to arrive on the ground
312.5ml(25%)took 4.86 to arrive on the ground
125ml(10%)took 5.56 to arrive on ground
BUT! empty water,only pressure took 4.09sec to arrive on ground
Now thats all the info,all up to u guys, to help me and like gimme a design
