I did this question like 10 times, i dont know what im doing wrong. The question is

Find the area enclosed between the curves y= (x-1)^2 and y= 5-x^2

$\noindent So the two curves intersect at $x=-1$ and $x=2$. So the area $A$ is$

$\begin{align*}A&= \int _{-1}^{2} \left(5-x^2 - \left(x-1\right)^2 \right) \text{ d}x \\ &= \int _{-1}^{2} \left(5-x^2 - x^2 + 2x -1 \right) \text{ d}x \\ &= \int _{-1}^{2} \left(-2x^2+2x + 4 \right) \text{ d}x \\ &= \left[\frac{-2x^3}{3} +x^2 + 4x \right]_{-1} ^{2} \\ &= \left(\frac{-2(2)^3}{3} +(2)^2 + 4(2) \right) -\left(\frac{-2(-1)^3}{3} +(-1)^2 + 4(-1) \right) \\ &= 9.\end{align*}$

$\noindent Hence the area is 9 square units.$
