1) The energy required to move 4 coulomb of charge through a 20 0hm resistor is 5 joules.What is potential difference across resistor?

Which formula we should use??i m so confused

V = 5/4

V = 1.25 V

To elaborate, potential difference between two points is defined as the change in energy (joules) per unit charge (coulombs), to move the 4 coulomb charge through the resistor, 5 joules of electrical potential energy is converted into heat energy, so 5 joules of energy is changed per 4 coulombs, so 1.25 joules of energy per unit charge.
