need help with Satellites (1 Viewer)

ok so the question is

"Why satellites used for 'live' te;ecast from other regions of the world to Australia and vice versa and to present reasons why communication satellites have different aerials and positional orbits."

I think i have a good idea as to what the question means, however if some of you could express your opinions on what the question is asking i would greatly appreciate it.

Also it would be nice if you guys could give me a few of your answers to this question so i could gain a better understanding as to what's going on. A link to some solid information would be great as well.
