Hey people, i just needed help with discussing the effectiveness of punishment, i just dont know wat to do, please help!!!!!!

hey im not really that sure either but maybe put something how different people respond to different types of punishement.... eg like aboriginals dont respond well to european forms of punishment like gaol but they repsond to aboriginal law like spearing in the leg n that
just sum ideas! sorry i cant b more helpful... goodluck!!

hey when it talks about the effectiveness refer to stuff like justice for individuals and community, fairness, resource efficiency etc

so here i guess u have to talk about the effectiveness of the purposes of punishment:
*Rehabilitation
*Deterrence
*Retribution
*Incapacitation
*Reintegrative shaming

is rehabilitation effective? perhaps look at statistics of recidivism (repeat offenders) is incapacitation resource efficient? etc
