HI guys

well i'm an oversea student attending skool In AU ATM

i sat for Skool Cert last year

and i got band 6 for Math and Science

HOWEVER, i got band 4 in English

since, i am an oversea students i seems almost impossible to catch up

with english

well anyway, i'm currently taking

English standard , physics, bio, chem, Math ext. and DT

well i found out only 2 % of ppl got higher than band 5 in English

and more than 25% in ESL

since i'm an oversea students i can take ESL if i want to

will it be wise move to change to ESL from Standard eng???

will i get higher UAI if i change to ESL???

plz give me sum advise

People will generally recommend that you do the highest possible course that you feel comfortable with. Try out Standard for a little while and see how it goes. If you find it too difficult, then you can do ESL. I'm not sure what the entry requirements for ESL are, but supposing you can freeely drop down to ESL, I would advise doing Standard first.

There are probably people who got Band 4s for English in the SC, but who are doing Advanced for the HSC...so I guess you should go for Standard, but if you're struggling drop to ESL.
