Hi,

I need some help thinking of ideas regarding noise pollution for my Senior Geography Project (SGP). You don't need any geography knowledge whatsoever, just give me ideas!

So far, I have got...

- How long have you lived in your current property?
- Have you observed an increase in the flow of traffic?
- Have you ever lodged a complaint towards your council of a neighbour being too noisy?
- Are you aware that there are rules and regulations regarding noise?
- Do you have sound proof device installed on your property?
- What are the major source of noise for you?
--> Does the noise annoy you on a daily basis?
--> If you were to rate the annoyance level our of 10, what would you give?
--> Do you suffer from a loss of sleep/insomnia due to noise?

How about...
- Do you think some losers take noise too seriously and call the police for no reason?
- Is 7am (at least I think that is what it is) too early too start making noise and waking people up who want to sleep in.

What are the main types of noise pollution that affect you in the neighbourhood (eg-fireworks, loud music, cars, trucks etc)?
Have you consulted and engaged in conversation with your neighbours about the noise pollution that affects the community?
Is your community taking any proactive steps to curb noise pollution?
Do you rate individual or group action as the best way to reduce noise pollution?
Do you have an idea on what type of age groups are mainly responsible for noise pollution?
Do you think the current penalties are harsh enough for those who commit noise pollution?
If you have complained to your council, do you think they have taken the necessary and sufficient steps to reudce noise pollution?
How do you define noise pollution?
