Can anyone please help me? I am trying to begin studying for HSC, but reading back through my notes I have lost heaps of my speeches stuff...
In particular I need to know three things.
1. What should be included when writing a personal response to a speech?
2. What are the similarities and differences between the speeches by Abraham Lincoln and Paul Keating in relation to; social and historical context; purpose and audience; underpinning values; way speaker establishes rapport; use of language; and way material is structured.
3. Martin Luther King Jr. When listening to the speech, how does the audience react? How did King respond to the crowd and how was his delivery calculated to get a reaction? What are the underlying messages in the speech?
I definitely do not expect anyone to just give me the answers, but could you just give me some tips, or atleast point me in the right direction?
It is very hard trying to study for exams as well as looking after my 5 week old son. Any help would be great!!!
