About ISP (lol interest < 0)

I need the old syllabus, if there's one. Grrrrrr school's so stupid, the questions on the 1st progress report include copying down stuff under the headings: Objectives, Outcomes, Areas of Study, Notes and Suggestions. I can't find those headings on the current Studies of Religion syllabus.

Can someone send me an e-mail with the syllabus attached. Or mail me the link, I can't find it anywhere. Need it urgently, due friday :(

email: noreplywtf@gmail.com (also msn)

add me on msn too if u think it'll be faster thanks

what do you mean by the "old" syllabus?
Pre-2001?
If so, why......

Good luck finding it!

the current syllabus (ie HSC of 2006) is what you need (in pdf form)
http://boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au/syllabus_hsc/pdf_doc/studiesreligion_syl.pdf

It reads like you are reading the new syllabus (ie HSC of 2007) which doesnt have an ISP....

In current syllabus= page 60 onwards
and no, bumping isnt cool........

I think my school never updated the assignment to keep up with syllabus changes, so questions on the first progress report on the ISP are based on the old syllabus I think.

Can't find the headings: Objectives, Outcomes, Areas of Study, Notes and Suggestions on that same syllabus you posted the link to. I mean headings for each topic ie Taoism

k one of the questions read:

"Briefly explain the notes and suggestions given in the syllabus for your chosen area of study."

those headings werent in the old syllabus either...they are probably specific to your school to help you out

They would have updated as it wouldnt be the same

The outcomes and objectives are there though.....

The AOS are Taoism, literature etc (ie teh actual topics -14 of them)

notes and suggestions??

stupid lag...that is refering to the points under the Headings

eg
taoism
Students learn about:
(A) the origins and historical development of Taoism
∑ the legend of Lao Tzu
∑ the development of philosophical, mystical and popular forms of Taoism
∑ the interplay of Yang and Yin in the pattern of life
(B) the interrelationship of beliefs, rituals and practices and the ethical and moral teachings of Taoism
∑ Tao as the ultimate reality and way of life in harmony with nature
∑ the principle of spontaneous or passive human action
∑ the writings: the Tao Te Ching and Chuang Tzu
(C) the influence of Taoism
∑ the interaction with Chinese society and culture
∑ the interrelationship with Confucianism
∑ the interrelationship with Buddhism.
at a guess...
I would verify with your school though

We got given part of the syllabus for Religious Biography, Religion and architecture, Religion and visual arts, Religion and literature, Religion and Ecology, Religion and Music, Religion and the Media. But not for the rest which I find more interesting. Eg. for Religious Biography there are headings:
Objectives: students will develop a knowledge and understanding about: bla bla
Outcomes: Recognise the critical...whatever
Areas of Study: Study of one famous...
Notes & Suggestions: Individuals studied must be chosen from at least...

It doesn't look like the syllabus from the board of studies. Some questions ask to write what it says under the "Area of Study" or whatever headings for the topic chosen
