Stuck with WW1 Sources Questions - how to answer them? Or maybe the content is a bit confusing?

I'm from the HSC Class of 2008 and I received a 99.55+ UAI and TWO STATE RANKS IN HISTORY - 3rd in History Extension and 9th in Modern History.
