Nero 7 Premium (1 Viewer)

afternoon boredofinternets.

Righto. I had installed Nero and it worked fine and dandy. Then I thought wait, I should install it to the other drive with more space. So I uninstalled it. (Im doing the thing I should have done in the first place. ie. Get a bigger master drive. )

So for the moment I want to reinstall it on the original drive to burn some DVD's.

For some reason it wouldnt let me install it. I deleted any Nero entries from the registry, and downloaded Nero's uninstaller "General Clean Tool"

Still doesnt work.
I get the following errar

Internal Error:

Custom Action DLL crashed on last call in function 'NeroAg_execPreInstallTasks'. The installer must now exit.

Crash Thread ID 6132
Current Thread ID 3308

Anyone can be helping me?!

Ive got to burn some DVD's so I can give mikey (thejosiekiller) his DVD's back, lawl.

Try deleting any 'Ahead' ones from the registry as well? There doesn't seem to be much on it, perhaps try 6 ?

Just found something:

I fixed it! I ended up deleting the folder the installer was creating in application data, doing a complete reg hack, disabled my antivirus and it went in like a champ.

You're welcome. I'm glad you're able to get things sorted out now. Yeah, for Nero, I've always recommend downloading directly from Nero's website instead of downloading from some where else because you'll never know when someone may have put a virus, trojan, spyware on the zip or exe. file, know what I mean.
