Netgear Ethernet Adapter (1 Viewer)

I have no idea what an ehernet adapter is, but its making dramas on my computer. Its the FA312 model and isn't compatible with XP which is the OP I got, the comp reboots all the time. If anyone has any idea what the hell I can do to fix it, it would be greatly appreciated!
