Hi,
I am having some problems logging onto AOL. When I start the AOL browser, a small screen displays a message saying it is installing the required network adaptor files. It never did that before. After 2 unsuccessful log-ins (one of them being the "Host timed out) it is able to log on to the AOL network. Once it is logged on, I recieve another error message saying,

"AOL has detected an error with your connection to the internet. Please exit the AOL software, restart your computer, and sign on again."

I do this and the same thing described above happens.
I am only able to access the AOL email service at this time. All other services such as web browsing, MSN and download programs do not work at all. What the hell do i do?

Thanks.

I used to get that message YEARS ago, when I used AOL for the internet too.

You need updated network card/modem drivers. If you know the model, head over to their website. If you don't. try www.windowsupdate.com (in IE of course), and sometimes in 'Hardware Updates' they add updates to your drivers. If you have an external modem, perhaps post it's manufacturer and model and i'll see if I can find the drivers for you.
Update drivers? Ahhh...how am I suppose to do that when I can't even access the internet!!!
