hey guys. just got a job and have some cash to spend and am decing to upgrade. just wondering some basic options in what i should do. im prob wanting a completely new one, im gonna keep my hard drive so thats sorted. but regarding cpu, motherboard, graphics adn that what should i be looking at. like price and products. N.B. it would be mainly for gaming and possible high mem usage programs.

Probably best to ask the polite geeks down in the whirlpool forums.

I'm getting a new compy soon, probably when nvidia release their next gen cards which I hear should be 'round November

Why not shell out the extra $30 or so for double the ram? If you're on vista then 2gb ram should be the absolute minimum

Well thats computer fair prices, but i guess if you visit any small computer store you should get for the same price or a bit more because the computer fair people are small computer stores.
