OMG does anyone know how to write essays AROUND the topic of belonging?

itsz such a cow!

i dont understand how to relate my text TO belonging in depth....

its not as hard as it seems, you've basically got to look at some of the major concerns in your text and how some aspect of belonging is being explored.

eg major characters in the novel, what aspect of belonging they're bringing, how this is portrayed through language techniques + characterisation

you should basically be looking at the question you've got, formulating some point of view/angle ie thesis to the question and then using these aspects of your texts to prove your thesis, using examples, quotes and showing how the techniques effectively convey this.
