Since evil_tama is dead, maybe its time for some new mods?

IMO, Generator would be a good call, to keep the bastards honest, or one person from each side etc.

Thoughts?

i've requested. purely to help the distribution of responsibility over forums. i just offered to do SC moderating cos i like helping the little gremlins.
So i wont have any major effect on the BoS community cos i would only help moderate a minor section

If you can't mod non-school how do you expect to be able to mod something serious

But on that note, you don't need somone center or someone from each side just one that deletes posts that are offensive (ie name calling etc) or spam, most people can distinguish between that and an argument.

Many new mods have been admitted recently, im a newer one that has been mod for about a month or so. Dont worry, although the negative views recently from NS, mods are working very hard and constantly monitor forums, even ones they are not responsible for.

Yeah, but evil_tama for example just deleted whatever the hell she felt like, and recently offensive posts havent been deleted anyway.

I dream of Asqy and I being mods as we are both believe in the complete opposite of pretty much everything but I don't think this will happen.

oh I wanted to mod SC as well....but there are already heavyweights in there - anti...etc.

Heh if I were offered the chance to be a mod, I'm afraid I'd have to knock it back. I'd be the one you love to hate and I don't think the senior mods would like that much. I can already think of a good dozen members who'd get banned if I were in control (but since junior mods can't do that, yu'd all be safe).

And people wouldn't be deleted on a whim - they'd get deleted ebcause they really broke the rules.

well thank fuck, really. for a minute there i was beginning to believe that politics and the human imagination were complex, fluid concepts. i'd almost given up on the whole left/right dichotomy. but there you go.

i don't think we need moderators, really. well maybe someone to clean up those "OMG MAN LOSES PENIS IN FREAK PENIS ACCIDENT" threads.
