guys does anyone know if the new success one physics has come out?

and if anyone has baught it... what does it include... would it have the 2004 and 2003 HSC papers?

I have the one which includes the 2001 and 2002 HSC examination answers... with the module exams... but was wondering if the new version had any new additional features.... I have a half yearly on in week 6.. so ineed all the practice i can get...

i thought it was worth 15% only to get the notification today where it said 25% in big bold writing.... which, by the way, is also the weighting of my trial...

anyways.... thanks for any info guys....

yes it is out, and it does have 2004 and 2003 hsc papers, thats really all the difference between the older books and the newer ones, maybe since the new syllabus was amended in oct 2002, that old one wouldnt help as much. So i would recommend u getting it.

my 2003 one didn't have the actual examination papers.. it only had the 2001 and 2002 solutions.. this one has the whole deal....

even though u can easily print the exams.. but hey... I'm happy...

so whats up with these success books?
Why are they so good. Whats the diff between buying 2 of the older hsc papers and getting em off the net for free. or off your school for free?

well it really depends on which subject u purchase the success book for..

for phys i had the 2003 success book... that only had 2001 and 2002 HSC examination solutions (even thouhgh u could print the exams off the net )... anyways.. and it also had the module exams.... i think it may have had 1 or 2 specimen exams also...

the new one has 2001,2002, 2003, 2004 HSC exams and solutions, it also has the 2002 and 2003 STANSW along with the module exams

anyways... i thought it was worth purchasing the physics and chem success books...

however, i don't think it would be a smart idea to bye the new success books for something like maths if u allready have an older version... it's just that physics and chemistry for example don't have the 20+ past papers u would find in the maths success books.. due to the fact that the syllabus was ammended in 2001...

so yeh... plus i enjoy looking at the success books because i know that all the practice i need can come out of the one book... anyways.. call me wierd.. but oh well

but if u have older versions then i don't suggest u bye the new ones... except for phys and chem... depending on how old ur version is...

success is also good for practising exam style question and if you do maths you'd fully understand. Exam Q's vs Textbook Q's.

yes i do fully understand.... out of all the success books i think maths is the best...
by the time u complete all the questions for a specific topic (following the topic by topic guide) u've almost mastered that specific topic...

practicing past HSC questiosn is obviously the best way to practice for ur HSC....
