Can people expect you to release any more music after you are released?

Probably. The future albums, if I ever record anything, will as far as I can tell sound much like the old albums, whether I like it or not, because I am incapable of making music that doesn't sound rather "burzumic". I fear it might not be too original or different from old Burzum, as I wanted it to be, but I guess there are people who think that is just fine too. And on the other hand it is not very surprising that I still make music that sounds much like my own music...

This is one of the most mature interviews I've seen him do, none of the outspoken or stupid comments that he normally does.

Zyklon, I was under the impression that his shift away from the whole metal culture wasn't that long ago? I'm not entirely sure but oh well. Its kinda ironic though, seeing as how he was claiming that metal was too closely related to the 'nigger' music of rock not all that long ago

I think those previous statements in interviews were not very clear and misinterpreted, because I sort of got what he was saying, and indeed, I don't like heavy metal culture, it's not much better then rap or rock's culture, and I don't listen to it either. Get drunk and laid isn't quite my thing.

But he definately made a 180 on his whole opinion on black metal, before he claimed that if he could not add anything new, then there is no point releasing anything at all.

Either way, I'm still excited at the prospect of hearing a new Burzum album.
