so whats the difference between using effect and affect..... can you give me an example where i would use them...to show me the difference..

affect is a verb
effect is a noun.

The effect of studying is higher marks.
your marks affect how you feel.

Affect = influence
"Will the new rules affect me?"

Effect = result (outcome, consequence)
"This change has had an effect."
