Should I make notes for Eco or just highlight and write notes in my textbook(following Mr.reditor's guide)?

I'd say make notes, even just typing things into your own words really helps alot if you don't have time to hand write.

And if you do choose to use notes, it would be better to write them out in your own words because notes are more effective if they're personal.

personally i preferred to do past questions over notes and look at the marking criteria while you're at it
then you know what to include in your answers come hsc time rather than blabbing random things thats not gonna get you marks

I prefer to write notes. I just like the feeling as though I have covered all parts of the syllabus and left no stone unturned. Doing questions may not necessarily yield all parts of the syllabus.

Consider what worked well for you in prelim economics and go from there.

Ok I will try the no notes for the first assessment as I feel I learn more thorough attempting questions.

The age old "past exam papers are the key to success" still applies as to date
Get used to what teachers look for in exams-
-Multiple choice will test your grip of the key content
-Short answer questions look for short term effects
-Essay questions look for long term effects and lots of stats.

Whether or not you make notes for the content is up to you - there are arguments for and against
But i would recommend you to make notes for statistics. Especially for your case study. Textbooks don't especially provide the most up to date stats
