The paradigms of the 21st century have been emphasised as one of the most important aspects of this module at my school - yet I don't really have alot to say about them. Interested to know what others have been doing.

- Post modern philosophy - the rejection of grand narratives and universal truths, the inadequecy or barrier of language...
- Capitalism - west vs everywhere else? West think that we now have the successful system... vs. late capitalism which says this is only a temporary system until we find something that suits everyone..
- Religion - NO IDEA? Islamic oppostion to westernization (note westernization, NOT globalisation!!)
- Scientific race - the push for development in technology, the challenge to ethics, 'playing God', the effect of technology on communities..
