i might need to do these subjects

ACCG100 Accounting 1A
ECON110 Macroeconomic Principles
ACST101 Techniques and Elements of Finance
MKTG101 Fundamentals of Marketing

how many contact hours (lectures + tutes/pracs) are they can anyone say? acst101 is 3 hours?

Yes, Acst101 is 3 hrs : 2 hrs lecture and 1 hr tutorial.

Accg100 is also 3 hrs : 2 hrs lecture (Monday 11) and 1 hr tutorial.

Econ110 is 4 hrs : 3 hrs lecture and 1 hr tutorial.

thanks guys

how much time are you meant to put in outside of class? for 5 hour contact time its 7 hours. im just trying to work out how much time ill have next year when i go part time.

someone correct me if i am wrong, but is it 4 hrs per credit point? so a 3cp subject = 12 hrs per week?
the info is in the handbook, i dont have mine with me.

another thing, the time includes uni lectures, tutes and pracs.

I always thought it was 3 hours / credit point. Although, I might be wrong. And yes, that time does include contact hours.

Does it matter(?)... you send as much time as need for each subject. Which may range from 3 hours (incl contact hours) or 16 plus hours. :p

lol yeah that's what i do, do what i have time for and what i need to do, i will not make work for myself, and not do less if i can't do it in the appropriate time.

You'll find some subjects only need about an extra hour outside of uni. Whereas some may take up to a dozen hours outside of class.

The key is knowing when and how much to study... and its different for everyone depending on how much time, how much effort they want/need to devote, and how much you want out of a unit.
