You can always go to the O2 website and see if the model you're thinking about has memory expansion slots.

The O2 XDA range are PDA/smartphones. Basically, if it's classified as as PDA.. then 99.9% chances are in today's market, it comes with memory expansion capabilities. My XDA II mini takes SD cards, and so does the IIi. It takes any size of normal SD cards.. and you get get up to 2GB at the moment (for around $300). The IIi should come shipped with a 256MB SD card already in the box.

Best value? Rofl.. it's $1,300.. there are far cheaper ones on the market. I would say this PDA goes more along the category of perhaps 'best' PDA Smartphone. $1,300 isn't value. But then again you can argue for the FEATURES it contains (520Mhz processor, 128MB RAM, tri-band phone, Windows Mobile 3.0SE based-PDA, recorder, 1.3MP camera w/ video, bluetooth, wifi).. it's not a bad price. To be honest, one that's great for value is probably the one I have.. the XDA II mini. Small sized means it functions equally well as a phone and a PDA, with basically a 20% slower processor, less RAM (pointless since there's SD expansion) and no wifi.. and costs $500 less.

when u say 20% slower, does it take a long while to open up applications?
Depends on which applications and how many applications are already running. This goes for both the XDA IIi and XDA Mini, the IIi just does it a little quicker.

Why on Earth are you looking to buy a $1,000+ PDA phone?
