After doin well in some projects my parents said they'd get me some glasses.

I like the look of these.

But I really love the look of those shades that change colour as they go down. Thought they were a bit metro for guys tho. Opinions?

edit: what are the names of those glasses with the different shades of colour that sort of fade out.

personally i'm not a fan of how square they are, but you'd have to try them on and see if they suit your face

not sure what you mean, but if you're referring to the ones that get darker/lighter with the light, they're transition lenses

oh ok,
not ones that change with the light, but the actual lens changes colours.
Sort of hard to explain. The top of the lens is say Dark purple and the bottom of the lens is clear and in between it is just a fade out.

ah k, now i know what you mean. yeah, they're cool, havent seen them on guys really so i'm not sure how well they'd suit a guy

my theory: just go out and try a whole heap of pairs on and decided from there, its always better to check out millions of pairs caus some look really cool on the rack, but they mightnt suit your face. make sure you take someone with you for a 2nd oppinion

Hmmm im not really a fan. But then again, I've never really liked Oakleys. I love Electrics and Von Zippers.

They could look good though. I agree with alby, just go and try a heap of pairs on and see how you go.

I've tried the Gascan's on. They're not too bad. Have you got a wide face?

Where I work we sell shitloads of Oakley stuff, so the rep comes around every 2nd week and we get to try on all the new stuff. I'm an Oakley freak.

Anyways, I've got a pair of Emporio Armanis that have gradient lenses in them, they're pretty cool.

post pic. It really depends on what you look like as to how well you pull off certain glasses. A prime example of this being my brother. He bought aviators and looked ridiculous. I had to take them, save him from himself.

I have the splice ones. Iridium coated or something. I went originally looking for sunglasses that would be the most protective from glare. Turns out they were not only the most protective but I think the most stylish as well at the time.

I do like the look of the ones in your link though :D

Polarization blocks the blinding glare that bounces off horizontal surfaces like roadways and water.
the ones that change're graded lenses....on oakleys they're the 'iridium' ones
