I'm offering Y7-10 English and HSC Advanced and Extension 1 1-1 tutoring or marking services. You can pay through the pay-as-you-go option or you can pay termly together. You can do weekly lessons or fortnightly, or even casual lessons before assessments, just let me know your preference
Unsure whether or not I'm the right eng tutor for you? I'm also offering a 30 minute consultation/ free trial lesson.
All lessons will be run via google meet.
As for subjects, I have priced them to be reasonably affordable:
English Advanced (Y11&12) - $35/hour for tutoring sessions, $15 for marking services
English Extension 1 (Y11&12) - $35/hour, $15 for marking services
Year 7-10 English - $28/hour
I graduated achieving a high band 6 (97/100) in English Advanced, a high top band E4 (48/50) for Extension 1 English and a high E3 (44/50) for Extension 2 English and I am studying a bachelor of laws and arts at UNSW. In fact I loved english so much in high school I also joined the premier's debating challenge in Y11 & Y12. I've also have helped friends in my grade improve (from getting 50%s to getting high band 5s/6s in the HSC.)
It is obviously better if you've studied the same texts as me but I'm also willing to learn any texts I didn't study at school.
Texts I studied were:
English Adv: (COMMON MOD: 1984, MOD A: Hagseed and Tempest, MOD B: Ts Elliot's poetic suite, MOD C: Nam le, Father and Child, Ray Bradbury)
English Extension 1: (Elective: Worlds of Upheaval: Frankenstein (novel), Metropolis (film), Waiting for Godot (play), Arrival (film), The Handmaid's tale (novel), Au Lecteur (poem))
Also studied (in junior years): Dracula, King Lear, Macbeth, Animal Farm, Much Ado About Nothing
