i've been lookin' at oldmans differentials method, and i like it. :) but i wanna know how u can apply his method for the above question:

#e^(2x)/sqrt(e^x+1)dx

You're fine with whatever method as long as you give the correct answer for integration.. unless they are asking you to prove something, then becareful

well d(e^x + 1) = e^x dx

so your line
= # (e^x+1) - 1 / sqrt( e^x + 1) d(e^x + 1)

= # sqrt(e^x + 1) - 1/sqrt(e^x + 1) d(e^x + 1)

= (2/3)(e^x + 1)^(3/2) - 2 sqrt(e^x + 1) + c

yeah, i am aware of that, but i u know its a quick method for other applications of integration, eg. volumes.
