anyone read "On the Road" ( or something close to that title) by Jack Kerouac??
i've heard heaps about it but want to hear what anyone who's read it thinks

I'm currently reading it, along with several other books so I'm only about 1/4 way through. I'm so far finding it really interesting. It's got this road trippy, independant type feel to it. The protagonist reminds me a bit of Holden from Catcher in the Rye.

Give it ago and see if it's your type of book.

hhaa like 3 years too late..
but i read the back blurb and thought 'this is really good, i'm going to fork out $50 on a hardcover copy..'
and thankgod i invested in the hardcover copy because ive thrown it around a bit..
haha..
it's tedious i feel..
but it's a classic so eventually i will finish it ..[and its pretty bad.. because i'm one to finish books regardless of how bad they are..]
