Damn, that sucks how it ends like that. I want to know what the hell was down there.
This reminds of a similar story i heard. It took place in Paris.
You may or may not know this, but there are catacombs beneath Paris, noone knows who built them, and they extend hundreds of metres below the city. There is a myth passed around that at the bottom there is a gateway to Hell. Like the caves, once you get a certain distance down it is pure black. An unknown man went down there one day, and never returned. He did take a video camera down there with him, and a bunch of explorers went down to retrieve it. They found close to the bottom, and watched what was on it. Basically it was him walking through the catacombs, until he passed this wall with bizarre drawings on it. Then he turns down a corridor, and suddenly drops the camera, and runs off screaming. The camera didnt catch what he saw, and fuzzed out soon afterwards. The explorers also found a hidden chamber, where the floor was made out of piles of human bones, they couldnt determine how deep they went down.
Has anyone else heard that story?
