open days on sat 30th (1 Viewer)

i have a dilemma....

i want to go to the syd uni and uts open days, BUT i have a physics portfolio due monday and 4umaths exam on friday.

is it really worth going that much?
some of my friends are going, what if they pick up any documents/pens for me?

i will be going to other ones(unsw and maq) so will that tell me about similar courses at usyd and uts?

if i go i'll end up wasting the whole day, any suggestions?

I think they're always worth going to - though they'll all be holding another day around January 4 sometime.

i received a brochure from UNSW about the open days. they said it only occurs once every 4 years ? what the?

I'm pretty sure thats the expo on 6th september as on the front it says "UNSW Expo, 9am to 5pm"

well it's good 2 get a feel for th euni. i have most of the documents from there, so basically i just want a feel for the uni ( and the pens as well)

as a guess, i'd say this "expo" is different to a regular open day. it'd make sense to have one every year. one every 4 years is just silly. how are they going to recruit students then?

Yeah, every year they have the Open Day for Yr12/high school students, but every 4 yrs, they combine the Open Day with EXPO, which is like an open day for everything

nah i was at syd uni for a week for a computer course a while ago and i have been to the enrichment days too.

i dont go to happy hour at uts, too young

everyone is probably at the uni right now.

that happens often. but if u've been there for abt a month, i start feeling that the uni isnt really that big .... thats how i felt just before the hsc (i used to go to study in fisher library)
