i did physics up to yr 11 and was wondering if its still necessary for me to take the bridging course for physics and how disadvantaged i'll be if i dont?
Saw our Q; forwarded your question by fb to a mate whose doing optom.
Ummm... i don't know if physics is compulsory for you guys - but I'd do it cause there is a physics in 1st year chem; and you'd probably get the hang of it better. fwiw; I still did okay in chem without doing any physics in highschool.
"you don't need it but its probably good to do it just to get a grasp on stuff. first semester physics is tough though, even people who did hsc physics struggled in it. but as long as you listen in lectures, do your tuts and read the textbook its fine. and don't cheat in the online quizzes cos you don't learn anything that way. hope that helps
oh and i reckon hsc 3/4 unit maths is more useful than hsc physics"
