Optometry - uai needed? (1 Viewer)

anyone plannin to do optometry?
does anyone know what the required UAI for it is? or umat score? :S

It's like 98 for someone who obtains a semi-decent UMAT score (175/300?).

The cut-off's at 95, like MBBS, at UNSW. To be admitted, you would need to compensate with a high UMAT score.

If you're set on Optometry, you may consider doing a some course, then transferring into BOptom BSc, or doing BSc (Vision Science), which isn't Optom and doesn't actually resemble it too much to any large extent.

But anyway, please remember that for optometry, UNSW offers many bonus points for subjects, making it quite easy to get 99.95 ATAR with bonus points. This then means that the UMAT will become a discriminator.
