There's this teacher that comes to my school apparently every thursday and he has some program which is based on last years HSC stats and predicts your UAI. This program also takes in fact the school in which you are attending. Does anyone know what this program might be? Im going to go try my marks this thursday.

It sounds dodgy.

1) If it is the UAI Simulator version 8, it is certainly not free
2) If it is the UAI Sim, it does NOT take into account what school you attend
3) It shouldn't take into account what school you attend, because that's a ludicrous proposition and will likely return an anomalous estimate.
4) If it is the UAI Sim, then there is essentially little difference between it and SAM; there's no need to use it.

PEDC Make one. Im sure schools use a very accurate one as they have to predict uais for med, and the unsw bloke said they are extremely accurate.

lol, I sure did :D, that was when UAIseek wasn't free

but you must know that the ones the school use have not much (if any) more data than laz, they just have a nicer interface.

but the thing with SAM is that u can only see wat ur UAI would have been in '03 and i was thinking that some other program could have shown wat it would have been in '04.

Largely with this. Semi-final this week!
Good luck with that, Laz!

As a 2005 student who is looking forward to the unveiling of the new SAM as much as anyone else, I say take as much time as you need; and thank you so much for contributing your own time and effort to future generations of HSC students in the way you do.

Kudos to you. :)
