Anybody else slightly peeved at the commends made by some church member regarding the RSL funeral of an ex serviceman?

Apparently the church does not "celebrate" war, and therefore would not give the man an RSL funeral, which I think involves draping an Australian flag over the coffin and a few prayers.

Luckily, an ex serviceman and local Anglican dude has agreed to do the funeral, without the blessing of the church.

How dare this arse clown say such offensive things, and not allow a dead serviceman an RSL funeral!? How is honoring our ex servicemen, "celebrating" war?

No wonder people get pissed with the Churches. They shouldn't have the right to dictate as to whether somebody can have an RSL funeral.

I'm still getting my head around an RSL funeral equalling the celebration of war.

What a douche bag.
