so i actually regret not getting a job earlier on but Ive decided to get one as soon as HSC ends

but is it worth it -> as in do people usually quit when uni starts because if so I dont see the point in just doing it for 3 months.

there r a lot of places that are happy with summer jobs! i know ppl that worked in vet clinics or at the zoo and shadowed dental assistants. ur best shot is to just ring ppl up and see if they're okay with it, ud be surprised at the amt of ppl who'd like a helping hand even if its just 3-4 months <3

idk anyone who got a job after hsc then quit in time for uni. youre probably going to get stuck with a shit job (unless ur volunteering) and bad pay since you dont have any experience, though you get paid more if ur 18 (minimum wage laws). if i were you id probably try get casual work since it pays 25% more hourly and it would be easier being flexible with hours since ur not doing much after hsc.

also try work saturdays and sundays bcuz u get penalty rates (differs from award to award, i remember getting 150% on sat and double pay on sundays under a fast food award)
