Partial fraction q - Can't find my mistake any help appreciated (2 Viewers)

1 - 2x = A(2x+3) - B(x+2)
= x(2A-B) + 3A - 2B
equate:
-2 = 2A - B
1 = 3A - 2B
you should get A = -5, B = -8
your mistake was when you were subbing in A, B values part. You equated incorrectly, 3A - 2B = 1 not -2 .
