i was wondering if anyone had any past papers on basic algebra and arithmetic?? i.e. surds, simplyfying algebraic fractions, absolute values involving inequalities, quadratics etc. would be very much appreciated.

For these topics, I think by doing the exercises from the Cambridge or Fitzpatrick one may help. But if you really want those copies of past papers, I would suggest you to ask your teacher about it. =)
