Hey, Alright i have a essay due on thursday, about the following question
According to Thucydides Athens should have won the Peloponnesian war. Why did Athens lose the war?
First, discuss briefly why Pericles' policies should have resulted in victory?
Second, why did Athens lose the war? What key mistakes did Athens make during the war against the Peloponnesian League?
Third, how did Alcibiades' policies further Athens' eventual ruination?
If anyone could give me a hand on answering this question it would be much apperciated. MSN DT_sup@hotmail.com
Thanks in advance,
Jesse
