well for coastal management you could think of the different views that a conservationist, engineer, local resident, or even the minister for conservation and environment might have on the issue. in terms of managing the issue, an engineer may support sea walls to stabilise the sand whilst a local resident may be against that idea, seeing that it might destroy the scenic beauty of the beach. minister migt value the opinions of the people most as it will affect their position in government but also keeping in mind of tourism in coastal aras and the funding needed to regulate d issue. as a conservationist, they would oppose things like beach nourishment and sea walls as it affects the natural/geographical processes on the beach and could further impact on the eco-system.
