'Aim: The aim of this experiment is to determine the pH of an unknown solution by basic volumetric analysis. The unknown was titrated with a prepared standard in order to calculate the hydronium ion concentration.'

Supplement 'pH' in the first sentance if you are meant to find the concentration of something else. ie 'Aim: The aim of this experiment is to determine the HCl concentration of an unknown solution by...'

Otherwise edit where appropriate.

I'd normally include a 'theory' immeadiately after, but however your teacher likes it is probably best. There's now point wasting time on the aim. It is straight forward and to the point. When you have four lab reports a week to do you'll long for the days of um-ing and ah-ing over aims!
