just looking at my preferences and dont know what to do, currently have civil at number 1 but am not sure if that is what i want to do, i am keen to do engineering at unsw(this is all i have really considered). i looked at the unsw petroleum engo video and have a few questions if anyone can help.

how does it compare to civil, chemical ect, is it similar to anyone in particular?
is it harder in terms of maths ect?
does it require chemistry?
how big is the unsw faculty?

any other relevant information/help would be great
thanks in advance

does it require chemistry?
From a student back in first year who does Petroleum Engineering yes they need some knowledge of Chemistry and will get some knowledge of Chemistry along with Civil and Mechanical Engineers.

You do the same maths as most other streams, except for electrical and a couple of others that require more advanced maths.

The faculty has its own building so it's not insignificant, but is obviously smaller than the main specialisations (mech, civil, photovaltics, electrical, etc..

*EDIT just look up the course layouts via the 'UNSW handbook' (search on Google) and it will answer most of your Qs.
