Does anyone who did the experiment with the calcium pebbles and hydrochloric acid and distilled water remeber how much of each they used. Also does anyone know the reaction that occurs in this experiment

At my schools we blew into a straw to change the pH and also used CaCo3 - then compared - i.e. why the pure CO2 was more valid.
