Pharmacy at Usyd or Monash? (1 Viewer)

i am an international students and get offers from both of the unis.i wonder which one is better in their pharmacy program?
my offer at Monash is a 6-year long double degree--pharmacy/commerce,i am not sure whether it worth taking the additional 2 years to study commerce.

would anyone like to enlighten me?

Depends on your circumstances. Where are you currently living at the moment? As an international student, your tuition fees will be high--can your parents afford to pay as well for the cost of relocating if you're already in one of the two cities? If you're in neither, Sydney's cost of living will be higher.

Finally, do you have an interest in commerce and all that, or do you plan to open your own business? If you're pretty certain about one or both, Monash might be the way to go. Otherwise, if you're not sure or cost might be an issue (you will be losing two years of employment if you do the double degree and it is six years of tuition instead of four), you could always just do the one pharmacy degree at either place and come back for a Masters of Commerce which is just graduate entry but is the same thing as a Bachelor of Commerce, and by then you'll hopefully have earned enough money to lessen the financial load of your parents.
