I got a quick question I'm not too sure about.

B Science has a major in Philosophy, so to does B Arts.

What is the difference between the two?

Thanks.

The only difference is in the other subjects you do with it... outside of the major...

No difference in terms of the actual coursework in philosophy.
But if you are seriously thinking about this, you need to think about where you want to go from there (eg Ph.D in philosophy then academic), because majoring in philosophy isn't a degree for which there's plenty of jobs if you catch my drift..

I don't plan on using Philosphy as part of my career. I'll take another major for that.

It's just for self interest.

What are you planning to major in Ragerunner?
I am interested in philosophy too within a Bachelor of Arts Degree but it sucks because most of the subjects that I like aren't really that great for a vocation.

I plan to Major in Chinese studies and Philosophy in Arts for something I just want to know.

I'm combining it with Science as a more career type course, then probably transfer into something else.

Yes, but u have to take a placement test for the language, most background speakers start at 3000 level (3rd year level for a beginner)
