does anyone know how to host music so you cant put it on a website, or a myspace.com profile?

The only place I know of which offers free hosting is www.yousendit.com. But that is hosting only for the purpose of uploading the music to the site that someone else can download it, so it depends what you are using it for...also yosend it expires after 7 days or so may downloads...I dont think that is what you need it for though, but if it is give it a try

Unlikely you'll find a good one unfortunately, as in all probability, people would use it for illegal files, and the site would shut down your hosting instantly, or they would be sued/be asked to shut down. Sorry :\
