Hey im trying to write a practice creative writing thing for physical journeys. Problem is, my story goes from like a whole paragraph on the departure, then like a sentence on the actual journey and the rest of the story takes place in a new country (so the story deals with their arrival and then their experiences in the new place). So im just wondering, does it matter if my actual ''journey'' or trip only goes for like a sentence, as long as the rest of the story deals with the new surroundings? (Oh btw, at the end, the people may or may not go back home, i haven't decided yet - not sure if thats relevant though). Thanks

That's probably actually a better way to approach the story than dedicating a lot of writing space to the actual journey- because motion from one place to another is not really the focus of the stimulus, but it is more about the effects, and changes, and outcomes of the journey. Also, remember that for the creative writing section you can write from any angle- physical, inner, or imaginative. Your focus journey is only applicable to the essay question.
