Im doing Physical Journeys for the Adv English Area of Study... is it ok to choose a related text which is talking about a physical journey which turns out to a actually be an imaginative journey (e.g. a dream)?

Should be alright I suppose. As long as it isn't commerical garbage and fulfills the critera for obstacles / catalyst and inner growth.

Commercial garbage? It has its merits you know...
It will be fine, just make sure you tackle it in the right way, so don't leave it to the last minute! I did a text that was an imaginative journey based on a physical journey, so why not?
